Kyriakos Maridakis

Kyriakos Maridakis is a member of the Board of Directors. of the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy

Mr. Maridakis was born in Athens March 27, 1975 He grew up in Historic Salamis and is the descendant of Hero of the Second World War Georgios Maridakis. He is a Certified Accountant and Financial Officer of the National Bank of Greece. trained in the US (Administration, Public Relations, Communication, Personnel Management). He is fluent in English and German. He was actively involved in the common and cultural events of Salamis, initiated by his father Christos, who rescued the Historic sites of the Battalion, the Ancient Harbor and the Tomb. With a Diploma “Virtue” from the World Center of Hellenism, Sir – Knight award from the Prince of Montenegro to Monaco, as well as Founder and Deputy Chairman of International Salamis Foundation, Head of Transnational Committee of the Rotary Region 2470 Israel – 2017-2018, Commissioner for Tourism and Cultural Development of the International Commission “Grant Restoration of Salamis” and Founding President of the Rotary Salamis Group “Vasileos Aias” has undertaken an international effort in cooperation with the Greek Government, 47 embassies, International Organizations and Chiefs States to contribute voluntarily and unselfishly, by internationalizing the Historic Island of Salamis and promoting our Cultural Heritage.
