Charalambos Tsardanidis is a member of the Academic Council of the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy
Mr. Tsardanidis studied Political Science (University of Athens), European Studies and International Relations (MSc, PhD LSE) and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mediterranean Studies, University of the Aegean (appointed). Since 1993 he has been the Director of the Institute of International Economic Relations and has been the General Manager of the Association SA and LTD. He has taught at Panteion University, Piraeus University and Harakopio University.
His main books are: The Politics of the EEC – Cyprus Association Agreement: 1972 – 1982, 1988, The “Refurbished” Mediterranean Policy of the European Community and Greece. 1992, The Foreign Policy Decision-Making System 2006. He has edited and co-edited eight volumes, including A. Contis in two editions of International Political Economy. Theories, structure and challenges of the global economy, Papazisis Publications. He has published over 100 research papers as chapters in edited volumes and articles in international and Greek scientific journals, including Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Integration, European Foreign Affairs Review, Geopolitics, Ethnopolitics, Outre Terre, Journal of Area Studies, Le Courrier des Pays de l ‘Est, Perceptions.
