Georgios Liassas is the Head of the Danish branch of the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy
Georgios Liassas works as a Cybersecurity consultant in the FinTech domain in Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated in 2010 from the Athens University of Economics and Business being awarded his undergraduate diploma in Computer Science. He pursued his postgraduate studies in Helsinki Aalto University and the Technical University of Denmark. His Master’s degree focused on the field of Network and Software Security. He completed his studies at the Technical University of Lausanne EPFL, Switzerland. Georgios Liassas has actively participated, as a speaker, in numerous international conferences related to his professional engagements. He has a vivid interest in topics concerning the intersection of Technology and Culture.
Georgios has in the recent years engaged in initiatives aiming at promoting awareness around the Greek Culture in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has a strong interest in matters that concern the Identity, Language and Culture. The activities undertaken by the Danish branch of the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy aspire to reinforce the bonds between the Danish and Greek people based on the sense of proximity, trust and empathy through synergies and public dialogue.
